7 Man, animal, machine: differences and overlap's. The living being as a machine:
8 this image has been verypopular in different hist orical periods and is still
9 present today, even reinforced by computer technology (``the brain as a
10 computer''). At the same time, all kinds of criteria have been (and still are)
11 sought in order to separate man from the rest of the world (the natural and the
12 artificial one). Using in sights from computer science, philosophy and ethics,
13 try to sketch a general vision of how man, animal, and machine relate to each
14 other.
